El Equipo Mazzanti
El Equipo Mazzanti is led by Giancarlo Mazzanti, architect of the Javeriana University in Bogotá. For his practice and research Mazzanti has been awarded more than 15 national and international acknowledgments and invited to teach and lecture at world prestige universities such as Harvard, Columbia and Princeton. Giancarlo Mazzanti is the first Colombian architect to exhibit his work in the permanent collection of MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art) and Centre Pompidou.

Social values are at the core of El Equipo Mazzanti architecture projects. The firm works to design buildings that can support transformations and build up communities. Mazzanti is committed to the improvement of the quality of design of the built environment and to the concept of social equality. His works reflect significant social shifts happening in Latin America today, and demonstrate that good design can lead to new identities for cities and their inhabitants, transgressing reputations of crime and poverty, standing as examples of dignified urban centers, homes to architectural landmarks.
